a few people have referred to tribe parties in the future and i think it's a great idea.
i'm assuming that tuesday was picked because venues are much easier to come by on slow nights.
can we do a afternoon/evening party sometime on a weekend? i think that would make it easier for people to come out cuz it's not late (for the 9-5ers) AND it's a weekend (better turnouts generally) BUT it's not cutting into the venue's gravy time (i.e. friday or saturday night.)

Thu, October 12, 2006 - 10:05 PMthat's a great idea, t-bird... and i'd like to see some regular ongoing tribe get-togethers, too. some of my tribes have them, but it was really cool to meet such interesting people who i've not encountered before because we don't share tribes.
i really liked 12 galaxies for the event, or a place that size with easy transportation like that -- i think a tribe party on a friday night could fill the place up and people would stay later and dance more, too. -

But the wife and I would both be down for a weekend one.
